Within the teams we have a range of health care professionals and support staff that includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapist technicians and associate practitioners.

Rehabilitation is treatment that is designed to aid the recovery from injury, illness, or disease to an agreed realistic level. Treatment can be in many forms and includes equipment provision, to assist with mobility or tasks that are needed for everyday living, exercise and more specialised clinical care tailored for individual needs.

The purpose of rehabilitation is to restore some or all of a person’s physical, sensory, and mental capabilities that were lost due to injury, illness, or disease. It includes assisting people and promotes coping strategies to overcome any loss in previous ability.
