The orange pathway incorporates all the services provided in the Red pathway for children under 19 years (Healthy Child Programme) with the addition of further support and intervention where difficulties arise in an effort to address these at an early stage to alleviate them and to improve the future outlook.
This might include additional support from other services such as specialist groups, social care, referrals to speech therapy, voluntary services etc.
Yes, your health visitor or school nurse will complete the referrals.
