Your child is growing and developing fast. There is so much going on in their little world from learning to talk to using a potty or toilet. It is reassuring to know all these changes are happening as expected.
Why is the 2-2.5 year review important?
A development year review is offered around 2 years and 4 months old. This allows time for any issues to be addressed before starting school.
What to expect
We will arrange an appointment for you and your child at one of our development review clinics and send you two questionnaires to complete and bring along to the appointment as well as your child’s ‘Red Book’ (Personal Child Health Record). At the appointment there will be one or two other families though you will be seen individually. This is an opportunity to discuss your child’s development and any health or behaviour concerns you may have such as toileting, sleep and behaviour.
