We are a team of physiotherapists and podiatrists who specialise in assessing and treating children with biomechanical issues. We see children from birth - age of 16.- Our MSK team have specialist knowledge and skills to enables them to treat a wide range of injures, diseases and disorders that affect children’s joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons.
What to expect: Your initial appointment can take up to 1 hour, where the physiotherapist will ask you a series of questions relating to your reason for referral and then will complete an in-depth assessment. The physiotherapist will then work out the most appropriate treatment option for you, this could be provision of a specific exercise programme, education and management advice, attending a group or 1:1 sessions. MSK physio’s also assess for serial casting, orthotics and hydrotherapy.
Your physiotherapist will then arrange for you to have a follow up appointment if needed.
