On Sunday, 21 July 2019, the nation’s best male and female cyclists will be racing along Rochester’s cobbled streets and past the historic sights to compete to earn the title of national champion. Throughout the day the area inside the race route will be landlocked meaning that there is no vehicular access to it at all and there are only a few pedestrian crossing points.
From 10pm on Saturday 20 July, the area around the route will become a no parking zone while crowd barriers are put up along the route. The roads will be closed from 6am on Sunday 21 July until 10pm that evening.
If you are out over this weekend please be aware that you may have to park somewhere else and walk.
