"The theme for this year's national apprenticeship week is 'skills for life', focusing on helping individuals to develop so they have the knowledge, abilities and confidence to achieve a rewarding career.
MCH is proud to have been supporting clinical degree apprenticeships since September 2020 with several employees gaining their Nursing Associate qualification and joined NMC register.
The resilience and dedication our apprentices show during their training is a credit not only to the individuals but also our managers and team colleagues as they play such an important supportive role in the apprentice’s journey.
I have had the pleasure of meeting these great staff and hearing first-hand about the benefits gained from the programme including:
- working and gaining qualification leading to rewarding career
- gaining hands on experience
- tuition fees paid for so no debt
- support from manager, mentor in workplace as well as their colleagues
- student discounts
- plenty of programmes to choose from
So if you would like to know more, please take the opportunity to visit our apprenticeship page or contact Marcela, Practice Development Facilitator, on marcela.summoogum@nhs.net for further details".
