Our pledge demonstrates best practice guidelines on providing an excellent patient experience that directly relates to our organisational values. Each service has developed a pledge to show patients, relatives and carers what to expect from them. This will be a mutual understanding as it will show staff what to expect from patients in return, ensuring that all expectations are met.
Our pledge is based on the NICE guidance (CG 138) and quality standard on patient experience. It replaces the existing organisational privacy and dignity policy and forms part of the customer experience strategy.
