Helen has worked for the NHS for 30 years starting as a student nurse in Maidstone and has worked in different clinical, professional lead and management roles including; district nursing, continuing health care, practice development, integrated working and community manager of adult services.

Helen has worked in Medway since 1993 throughout various organisational changes and has been with MCH since inception in 2011. She is now the director of urgent and planned care and manages several services including long term conditions, intermediate care, stroke, community nursing and tissue viability. She is also the company director responsible for clinical quality and represents MCH at various forums acrossKent and Medway.

Helen is a strong advocate of partnership and integrated working as well as the use of technology to support the delivery of health and social care.
