Brian has spent most of his career delivering education development programmes in England and overseas in the Seychelles and Pakistan. In the Audit Commission, Brian worked with local government, health and other public bodies improving performance and delivering better value for money. Brian retired from his role as a Director of Operations within the Department for Education in 2016. Since then he has continued to support the Office of the Children's Commissioner. In September 2017 Brian was appointed as a member of the Youth Justice Board where he chairs their Finance, Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.
Brian is an enthusiastic supporter of enterprise and efficiency and joined MCH specifically to chair our audit committee and work with everyone to make sure our resources are managed effectively.
