MCH is a Research Active organisation and have a vision of being able to offer our staff, patients and carers the opportunity to get involved in research. Below is a table of our current open National Institute of Health and Care Research approved studies we are supporting.
Some studies are specific to the clinical services and care that is being delivered but feel free to click the links and check out what we are involved in and to get some more information.
If you cant find an appropriate study but are still interested, MCH are very much in support of “Be Part of Research” and “Join Dementia Research” and click the links at the bottom to sign up.

IACT4CARERS | iACT4CARERS is an online psychological training programme to support family carers of people living with dementia. Mindful Life-Well at work | Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Life (MBCT-L) v. MND Register (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) | Every single person with motor neurone disease (MND) can help the global effort to find causes, treatments and ultimately a cure for MND. Skin Changes in people with Dark Skin Tones | This study is an assessment of skin changes in people with dark skin tones. Snacktivity | This study is testing a new approach to helping people become more physically active.
